About us

Traslados.do is an independent guide to getting around the Dominican Republic: from the airport to your hotel, between cities and from the cruise ports.

What we do

Every route page brings together what a traveler needs to decide: the distance, the drive time by day and at night, tolls, the official taxi fare where there is one, and the price range for a shared shuttle, a private car and a van.

The data comes from fares posted by the airports and taxi unions, bus company timetables, road maps and public quotes from 2025 and 2026. When something cannot be confirmed, the text says so.

Who edits it

Inés Peralta edits the routes and fares. The job is to check every distance, timetable and price against current sources and update the pages when they change. Each page shows the date it was last checked.

How we make money

When you ask for a quote with our form, we share your request with transfer companies that cover your route. They pay us for each request; travelers pay nothing.

Later some pages may show affiliate links or ads. If they do, we will say so next to the link. No company pays to appear in the text of a route, and we do not recommend transfer companies by name.

If a price, timetable or detail is no longer right, email hola@traslados.do and we will check it.
